Moe Poirier | Founding Partner | Shift Facilitation

As the visionary leader of Shift, Moe is on a mission to have corporate trainers reinvent themselves as change agents and value creators in their organizations. For over 20 years, he has honed his craft as a facilitator and a designer of training. Moe has a gift for bringing learning to life, and motivating others to strive for more.

Moe has achieved the distinction of Certified Training & Development Professional (CTDP) through the Institute for Performance and Learning (I4PL). His extensive career, which includes work with a variety of learning and development (L&D) companies before founding Shift Facilitation, has provided him with deep insights into L&D and leadership practices, enabling him to deliver exceptional learning experiences.

Moe is also an I4PL Award of Excellence (2006) recipient, an honour that acknowledges the quality of his work and his achievements in the industry. He has spoken at the Association for Talent Development (ATD) International Conference & Expo (ICE) since 2022. He has served as a volunteer on the ICE Program Advisory Committee since 2023. His writing has been published in Talent Development Magazine (April 2023) and Your Workplace Magazine (January 2020).

Moe has a B.ASc. in Electrical Engineering & Management from the University of Ottawa. He has achieved certifications from Human Synergistics, DiSC, Eagle’s Flight, and Global Knowledge, and Shift Facilitation is a certified partner with the Blanchard group.

Coen Tan | Strategic Partner, Asia Pacific | Shift Facilitation

Coen’s core mission is to inspire individuals to transform perceived weaknesses and limitations into strengths, enabling them to influence, lead, and bring out the best in themselves and others. As a facilitator, he advocates for everyone’s right to be seen, heard, and appreciated.

In May 2024, Coen was conferred the title of Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), a designation given to the top 12% of speakers globally. He has delivered speeches and training sessions to over 42,000 individuals and professionals across Singapore, China, Taiwan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, the U.S.A., Canada, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Based in Singapore, Coen now leads the team at the Ministry of Influence as its visionary. As a strategic partner with Shift, he serves as a trusted advisor in the Asia Pacific region.
In his corporate career, Coen worked as a curriculum designer for Policy and Leadership programs with the Civil Service College of Singapore – Singapore’s training institute for the public sector. Subsequently, as an in-house corporate trainer in the fashion retailing industry, Coen has designed, developed and delivered training programs that are accredited and approved by Singapore’s Government under the Workplace Skills Qualifications (WSQ) framework.

Coen graduated from the prestigious Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore with a Bachelor of Business degree, specializing in Human Resource Consulting. He has furthered his education in L&D with an Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) from the Singapore Government, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Training and Development (GpTD) from the Singapore Human Resources Institute. He holds certifications in MBTI and Enneagram, is an Appreciative Inquiry Practitioner, and a certified Cultural Transformation and Values Assessment Consultant.
